The Toronto Raptors didn’t play their best game of the season offensively, but they certainly were full value on D. After getting torched by Bradley Beal (stop me if you’ve heard this before) for 23 points in the first half, they got up close and personal on him in Quarters 3 and 4. With their gunner under wraps, Washington couldn’t find anyone else to step up against the stifling Toronto defense. The Raptors allowed just 36 second-half points and grabbed the win.
While the 3-ball has been a most productive weapon for the Raptors in their recent wins, it wasn’t this afternoon.
