It’s that time of year again folks, the NBA trade deadline has passed. The majority of us were just sitting around helplessly waiting for either Woj or Shams to tweet news about our team. This year’s trade deadline was especially tough for Toronto Raptors’ fans as the organization spent the majority of the day without any moves, all the while, fans were forced to watch competitors make move after move stocking their team.
But then, it finally happened. In what’s becoming classic Raptors fashion, the team opted to make the biggest splash of the day when they traded for Memphis Grizzlies star Marc Gasol.
