Look at that header image there. It’s a modern tableau, a work of art worthy of a museum. That’s Jonas Valanciunas, P.J. Tucker, and Patrick Patterson, left to right, of the Toronto Raptors. And save for perhaps Patterson’s hand being extended in an admonishing gesture towards the exuberant Valanciunas, it could have been painted by one of the Dutch masters. I love it.
Also, and this is related, I love the Raptors too. This is in no small part related to what each of these men has brought to this team, both in their strengths and limitations, in their efforts to make it as good as it can be.
