In an 82-game season, it’s important to stay level-headed. You’re never as good as you think you are, and you’re never as bad as you think you are. However, it does feel like all the potential downfalls of the Toronto Raptors were exposed against Brooklyn.
Toronto couldn’t find a second scorer late in the game, Jonas Valanciunas was killed in the pick-and-roll, and the Raptors were out-executed in the final minutes by one of the worst “Clutch” team in the NBA.
The Raptors came out sleep-walking from the very start. After Toronto made the first bucket, Brooklyn went on a 13-0 run.
