Sunday afternoon brought around one last tune-up at home for the Toronto Raptors. The opponent was a Miami Heat team still looking for a way to claw themselves back into the playoffs. The Heat started the game a game outside of the playoffs, dropping three in a row and desperate for a win.
The Raptors bench proved to be unreliable once more in the first quarter. The starters had the ball moving well and built up a small lead, but the introduction of the bench saw Miami regain a foothold. The bench was -11 in the opening quarter and the Heat led by one, not ideal.
