The NBA requires all players to be released by March 1, 2018, in order to be playoff eligible for another team. That means unless the Charlotte Hornets are able to pull off a small miracle to earn the seventh seed, Jeremy Lamb will not be able to kill the Toronto Raptors with a playoff buzzer-beater. Thank goodness.
This game featured two teams with two different effort levels. The Hornets currently have their backs against the wall and are doing everything to make the playoffs. The Raptors are counting the days until the real games start.
It’s easy to panic about a loss to an inferior team, but I’d preach patience.
