For the first time in a long time, the Toronto Raptors are fully healthy. Sunday’s contest against the Charlotte Hornets was just the third time all season, and the first time since the Marc Gasol trade, the Raptors have had their full roster available.
The reunion did not go as planned. Playing at home against a likely lottery-bound Hornets team on the second night of a back-to-back, Toronto entered the game as heavy favorites. However, they play the games for a reason, and despite their underdog status, the Hornets weren’t going down without a fight.
Early on, it looked as if the Raptors were going to take care of business.
