Philadelphia is the opponent the Raptors don’t know

The Philadelphia 76ers present a series of known individual quantities to the Toronto Raptors but are at the same time an unknown entity as a whole, making the start of their second-round playoff series a fascinating game of discovery.

Much like Toronto did, the Sixers went through an in-season remake this year and the Raptors have never seen what they present collectively.

The addition of Tobias Harris by Philadelphia in February, which followed the Sixers’ acquisition of Jimmy Butler in November, hugely changed the makeup of the team and its style of play, leaving the Raptors and coach Nick Nurse not entirely sure what will work when the best-of-seven series begins Saturday night.
