Pascal Siakam tells Raptors to stop complaining to the refs and run back on defence: ‘Just let it go.’

The Raptors are learning more and more that talk is cheap and counter-productive and that incessant complaining does nothing except lead to opportunities for their opponents.

It’s still very much a work in progress but the subtle change shows a maturity they need as the NBA stretch run continues and the playoffs get closer on the horizon.

“Going into these games we have to understand that most of the time it’s probably not going to go in our favour … so we can’t get stuck or caught up arguing with the refs and all that,” Pascal Siakam said Sunday night after the Raptors’ victory over the Sixers.
