Pascal Siakam is expected to miss at least the start of next season after having shoulder surgery.
The 27-year-old had an operation in Los Angeles last week to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder, the Raptors announced Friday.
“The expected recovery and rehabilitation time for this procedure is approximately five months,” a news release said.
With the 2021-22 season expected to start in mid-October, Siakam would be sidelined for about a month if his estimated recovery time holds.
Siakam suffered the injury in a game May 8 against Memphis, the team said.
