A while back, I mentioned in a piece how the Orlando Magic found a fitting addition to their roster in former Raptors center, Orlando Robinson. Given his name, it was an ironically fitting match for a guy I was genuinely impressed by during his brief stint with the Raptors. However, ultimately, the organization didn’t see Robinson as part of their long-term plans, so I was glad to see another NBA team give him a genuine chance to prove himself.
Fast forward to the late stages of the NBA offseason, and once again, we're hearing about Orlando signing a recent Raptors backup frontcourt player.
