NBA free agency begins on July 1st. It is widely expected that the Toronto Raptors will make a major change this summer. It has been reported that no one on the roster is untouchable, while Michael Grange of Sportsnet also reported that one of the Raptors’ “medium three” – Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan and Serge Ibaka – will not be back next season.
The Raptors don’t have the cap space to make a run at LeBron James or Paul George. The only option to improve the team is to trade away one of their core players.
