According to a report from ESPN.com, former Raptor Charles Oakley will accept a plea to have charges against him dismissed stemming from an incident with security guards at Madison Square Garden after he was asked to be removed from the building by New York Knicks owner James Dolan.

MSG security approached Oakley to have him physically removed from the building after he had exchanged words with Dolan. Oakley became physical with members of MSG security and was charged with assault, aggravated harassment as well as criminal trespass and harassment.

Assistant District Attorney Ryan Lipes offered to have all charges against Oakley dismissed as long as he stays out of trouble for six months and stays away from Madison Square Garden for the next 12 months.
