No one plays more than Kyle Lowry, and that could be a problem for the Raptors

For a guy who barely played in the pre-season, Kyle Lowry sure know how to go from zero to 100 in no time at all.

The Raptors point guard’s 195 minutes through the first five games of the season are the most of any player in the NBA. His 39 minutes a game are considerably more than the 34 he averaged in 65 regular-season games last year, the 34.5 he has averaged over eight seasons with Toronto, and the 31.3 he has averaged over 14 years in the league.

Lowry just likes to play, coach Nick Nurse said after using him for just over 37 minutes in Toronto’s win over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night.
