For the second consecutive offseason, forward Anthony Bennett, the first overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft, is looking for a team. The Toronto Raptors waived the Canada native after just one season with the team.
Bennett is attempting to get his career back on track after starting for the Canadian Olympic qualifying team that was one win away from making it to Rio. Despite being considered one of the worst draft busts in recent history, there appears to be mutual interest between Bennett and the Brooklyn Nets, according to Michael Scotto of Sheridan Hoops.
