NBA notebook: Raptors-Heat Game 7 sets basketball ratings record for TSN

The Raptors’ emphatic Game 7 win over the Miami Heat on Sunday was the most-watched basketball game ever on TSN. It had an average audience of 1.5 million viewers and peaked with 2.7 million tuning in as Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan led a fourth-quarter blowout to take the team to its first-ever Eastern Conference final.

The Raptors set a viewership record on Sportsnet two weeks ago in their Game 7 win over the Indiana Pacers. They pulled in 1.53 million viewers and had a peak audience of 2.63 million.

BOSH CONCERN: With ESPN’s Brian Windhorst reporting Monday that members of the Miami Heat organization fear Chris Bosh might never be medically cleared to return due to the return of blood clot issues that he faced a year ago, LeBron James wished his former teammate good health before anything else.
