Time waits for no man.
Except maybe Kawhi Leonard.
Everything old in the NBA should become new again Saturday at noon, but as has been the case for the last week, Leonard will be central to turning that “should” into “will” as he continues to debate where he will hang his shingle when the 2019-20 NBA season unfolds this fall.
With the league-imposed moratorium on free-agent signings and other transactions to be lifted at 12 p.m. ET, a flurry of activity already agreed to can become official. But some of that depends on Leonard deciding among the Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers to set in motion the financial process that will allow so many moves to be officially made.
