After beating the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night in Toronto, Raptors head coach Dwane Casey clinched his spot at the 2018 NBA All-Star game. In a delightful twist, he’ll coach against his two stars, Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan — they’re on Team Curry.
With the win, the Raptors moved to 33-15, which puts them second in the conference. Since Celtics coach Brad Stevens was the All-Star bench boss last year, he’s ineligible (and since the Cavaliers have slid, Tyronn Lue won’t be able to win enough games).
