MLSE hires Michael Friisdahl to replace Tim Leiweke as president

From the reports on TSN, it looks like the search to replace MLSE President Tim Leiweke is over. The organization is set to hire Michael Friisdahl, an Air Canada executive, to take the reins. What this means for the Raptors is, as you can imagine, still very much unclear.

From the TSN report:

Friisdahl joins MLSE from Air Canada, where since 2012 he was president and chief executive of the airline's leisure group, which runs Air Canada Vacations, a tour operator business.

Friisdahl's previous positions included CEO of Thomas Cook North America and CEO of the tour operator Holiday Network.
