Miles to go before Raptor sleeps

There was a summer family issue and a training camp jaw problem and a wonky shoulder, along with the birth of his first daughter and another bout with his jaw, and no one could blame C.J. Miles if he threw his hands in the air and wondered “what in tarnation is going on around here?”

Packing enough setbacks into four months to last an entire NBA season, the veteran Raptors forward hopes that, finally, things can progress to a point where he’s consistently able to help a team that needs his basketball skills.

It’s been a long, hard slog for the 30-year-old, signed as a free agent last July, one he hopes is finally over.
