The Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors meet for the third time in less than a month. Both teams are battling for playoff seeding in the Eastern Conference. Toronto won the March 23 meeting 101-84.
The Raptors enter Friday’s game in third place by way of a tie-breaker over the Washington Wizards. Ideally, the Raptors want to maintain the third seed and avoid the Cleveland Cavaliers until the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Heat sit ninth in the standings but are just half a game back of the Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls. However, the Heat are just one and a half games back of the Atlanta Hawks for fifth in the conference.
