Malachi Flynn is going to get the thing every NBA rookie needs most of all: a chance to play and work on his game.
The Raptors, who start a five-game road trip Thursday that will afford scant time to practise, have assigned the first-year point guard to their Raptors 905 affiliate that’s getting ready for the G League bubble season just outside Orlando.
The NBA team has games Friday, Saturday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and there will be no time for any significant practise. Flynn appeared in 13 of the first 21 games but never for more than 18 minutes.
