Malachi Flynn has been tearing it up this summer, and all eyes will be on the Raptors’ backup point guard when he returns to Toronto next weekend to see whether he’ll be able to continue his scoring avalanche.
The 24-year-old, the Raptors’ first round pick in 2020, is set to play at the pro-am game at Mattamy Athletic Centre on Aug. 20.
“We have a few big things lined up,” said Ekam Nagra, founder of Ball Don’t Stop media platform which is organizing the event.
This will mark the return of pro-am basketball festivities to the city following two years of absence due to the pandemic.
