Kyle Lowry has been with the Toronto Raptors since 2012, but it seems like he’s been a lifer. The manner in which he embodies the underdog persona of Toronto is endearing. Lowry looks like someone who belongs in Toronto–not overly talented, but a hard worker who doesn’t shy away from his fears. Despite never reaching the best performer on the team, he is a commanding general unafraid of leading his troops to battle.
Marc Gasol has barely been on the Raptors–he came in a deal at the trade deadline in early February 2019–but he’s quickly become a fan-favorite with his stifling defense, pick-and-pop 3-pointers, and his evidently bizarre behavior.
