The Raptors will do what they can to aid an NBA investigation into sign-and-trade transactions, including the one that sent franchise icon Kyle Lowry to the Miami Heat.
According to an original report by ESPN.com, the NBA is looking into free-agency deals between the Raptors and Heat, and the New Orleans Pelicans and Chicago Bulls.
“We are aware of the NBA’s investigation and are prepared to cooperate,” a Raptors spokesperson said.
Lowry was dealt to the Heat for Goran Dragic and Precious Achiuwa this past week, while the Pelicans sent Lonzo Ball to the Bulls.
