Kyle Lowry leads Raptors to Game 3 victory in Miami

MIAMI—It was a game of attrition and re-emergence, another taught battle in a delightfully-close and spottily-played NBA Eastern Conference semifinal that turned on the most unlikely of events.

The much-maligned Raptors point guard had 33 points — including five three-pointers — as Toronto outlasted the Miami Heat 95-91 here Saturday to take a 2-1 lead in their best-seven series.

Game 4 is here Monday, with Game 5 at the Air Canada Centre on Wednesday night.

With both starting centres in the locker room nursing significant injuries, it was left to the guards to determine the outcome, and it morphed into a battle between Lowry and Miami’s Dwyane Wade.
