Until this summer the honour of the best player in the East was largely a one man race. LeBron James’ reign over the conference lasted for 8 long years, taking the Heat and Cavaliers to multiple NBA Finals. During that period of time he was also undoubtedly the best player in the Eastern Conference.
Now that he’s gone, who takes on that title? More importantly, where does Kawhi Leonard fit in as a top player?
