As basketball fans in Toronto and Los Angeles — and likely throughout the rest of the NBA — whip themselves into a frenzy trying to read tea leaves that are still steeping, free agency soldiered on with nary a word for Raptors star Kawhi Leonard or any of the teams trying to keep or obtain him.
It is not entirely surprising — Raptors officials thought privately last week that it would be at least Tuesday before there were even final meetings held, and it could even be Wednesday — and it leaves Leonard and the league still in limbo.
