Jordan Loyd: Raptors have combo guard on two-way contract

The Toronto Raptors begin training camp in late September in Vancouver, BC. A hopeful player who will be in attendance is Jordan Loyd, Toronto’s first two-way contract person this season. You have every right to ask, “Who is Jordan Loyd?”, to which I’ll respond.

Loyd is a 25-year-old combo guard out of Alpharetta, Georgia who’s slightly undersized at 6’4″ and 210 lbs. He played college hoops at Furman, then the University of Indianapolis. Not being drafted in 2016 by the NBA meant he was eligible for the G (then D-) League draft, where he was selected by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (yes, it’s a goofy name, but fun just the same).
