It’s been three and mostly easy for the Raptors, who say they are motivated by ‘something bigger’ in series with Nets

The Toronto Raptors had never gone up 3-0 in a playoff series but, then, it had only been 25 years. Every Raptors playoff series in recent history had included anxiety, angst, a dollop or more of doubt, and occasionally despair. It even happened against Orlando last year, when the Raptors decided to play hard after dropping the opener, and it went pretty well from there. But they did lose Game 1.

But the defending champions are comfortable and confident in the bubble and, after a 117-92 win in Game 3 for a 3-0 lead of their first-round series with the Brooklyn Nets, thoroughly in control.
