But what did it feel like? What did we just get over the course of 82 games from Dwane Casey’s squad, and what exactly did it mean?
Hard to say. Only four NBA clubs, and just one Eastern Conference team, won more games than the Raptors, but there were all kinds of times this seasons when Toronto’s basketballers sure didn’t feel like a top-five NBA team.
During January and February, my goodness, it got ugly, certainly to the point where it seemed like this team wasn’t anywhere near as good as the team that made it to the Eastern Conference final last year.
