When Jeremy Lin was bought out by the Atlanta Hawks, he was perhaps the most sought after free agent in the NBA. A veteran point guard with the ability to score and create for others while not creating a liability on defense, Lin brought a unique skillset rarely available on the buyout market. The Toronto Raptors hit a home-run when signing Lin to a rest-of-year contract.
However, since coming to the Toronto Raptors, Jeremy Lin has been shockingly bad. His defense has been good but not great. His offense, a complete train wreck. At this time (VERY EARLY in his young Raptor career), Lin’s impact on the court has been overwhelmingly negative.
