Pascal Siakam has been bounced from pillar to post in this, his rookie season with the Toronto Raptors. He began the campaign as a “pinch me, I must be dreaming” starting power forward, but lately has been relegated to cheerleading duties, more formally known on the scoresheet as DNP-CD. Life as an NBA first-year man can be harsh.
The much-heralded arrival of Serge Ibaka theoretically pushes Siakam even further down the depth chart. The new guy will surely be the starter, and Patrick Patterson has received medical clearance to test (my word) his injured knee in games.
