The Golden State Warriors have three of the best shooters of all-time, two of the league’s top-five players, and one of the best offensive units ever assembled. To call the Toronto Raptors defensive assignment difficult is a monumental understatement.
But if the Toronto Raptors want to hoist the Larry O’Brien Trophy at the end of the year, it’s an assignment they’ll need to complete. No, Toronto won’t be pushing the Warriors into an 80-point slugfest. But they do have the talent, and perhaps just as importantly, the basketball IQ, to slow them down as well as anyone could reasonably hope.
