How Pascal Siakam clawed his way back to the top, with an assist from Kawhi Leonard

CHARLOTTE You’d be hard-pressed to find two Raptors, present or past, with more divergent personalities than Pascal Siakam and Kawhi Leonard.

There’s Spicy P: often smiling, often laughing, gregarious and open, willing to talk whenever you want and someone who obviously enjoys his life.

And then there’s Leonard: publicly withdrawn, not sullen but never engaging, answering questions without delving into conversation. He was probably the “fun guy” he said he was, but the general public seldom got to see it.

You’d think it might be best if Leonard were more like Siakam — comfortable just chatting, more willing to captivate people in conversation.
