Last night’s game was yet another undermanned performance to show Toronto Raptors fans how deep the team is and what we might be able to expect from players throughout the season. Coach Nick Nurse relied heavily on the starters with each of them, except Marc Gasol, logging more than 31 minutes.
Nurse kept it tight tonight with only a nine-man rotation with the expected cuts of Stanley Johnson and Malcolm Miller. But their short rotation wasn’t enough for the strong performances from both Kristaps Porzingis and Luka Doncic who combined for 46 points and 30 rebounds.
