The Toronto Raptors were one win away from their first ever NBA championship. Just one win away. They still are, but things become a little bit more interesting now.
Golden State looked set to gun down the Raptors in Game 5, with the return of Kevin Durant to the team for the first time since May 8. Unfortunately, for all of the NBA, Durant’s impact in the game would only last 11 minutes, as he looked to aggravate the injury that kept him sidelined for just over a month.
Even in that 11 minutes span, Durant scored 11 points on 3-of-5 shooting, with all three makes coming from downtown.
