Rookie Pascal Siakam scored off an offensive rebound to put Toronto ahead by four with 8.5 seconds remaining, sealing Toronto’s 97-93 victory over the Golden State Warriors. The win moves Toronto to 1-0 in the preseason.
CARROLL CRUISING
DeMarre Carroll led Toronto with 14 points on Saturday. Carroll started for the Raptors, playing 19 minutes as he shot 6-for-9 from the floor while adding four rebounds and four steals. Most importantly, he was very active and looked solid coming off a summer of rehabilitation to get his knee right after being limited for much of last year.
