IT WAS OVER WHEN
Kyle Lowry hit a floater to put the Raptors up five with 37.9 seconds remaining. After trailing by as many as 16 points in the third and leading by 14 points in the fourth, Toronto held on for a 104-99 victory to move to 42-20 on the season.
SLUGGISH FIRST HALF
Toronto turned in one of its most disappointing halves of the season against the Nets, falling behind by 16 at the break. The Raptors gave up 53 percent shooting to Brooklyn (while shooting 40 percent themselves), turned the ball over 10 times (leading to 13 Nets points) and gave up a 35-point second quarter while managing to score just 14 points in the period.
