The Toronto Raptors have been teetering for weeks, kept together by patchwork rotations and the odd good shooting night and enough defence to keep them in a game here and there.
It’s been enough to keep them atop the overall NBA standings, but it wasn’t going to last forever and it all fell apart in Orlando on Friday night. Their offence went missing, the defence wasn’t any better, and the best thing about a 116-87 spanking administered by the Magic is that it only counts as one game and there are a lot more to be played.
