There are a handful of things the Raptors have to do just a little bit better to get back into their NBA playoff series with the Boston Celtics.
Make three-pointers at a better clip — they can’t win with Fred VanVleet and Kyle Lowry going a combined 3-for-19 from beyond the arc as they did in Game 2.
Get out and run off defensive stops — the Celtics’ half court defence can be stifling.
And figure out how to stop Boston’s Jayson Tatum in Game 3 of the series that resumes this evening.
Tatum was 17-for-35 from the field and 6-for-12 from three-point range in Boston’s two wins, pouring in a series-high 34 points in Game 2 when he also got to the free-throw line 14 times.
