Before talking about Fred’s achievements I would like to acknowledge Jonas Valanciunas for his play. JV has really turned it on, amid trade speculation he seems unfazed and loyal to his team. In particular, in the defeat to the Utah Jazz, JV was the sole bright spot for the Toronto Raptors. JV scored a game-high 28 points, 14 rebounds (five of them being offensive) and shot 12 for 16 from the field. JV has been a monster of late and deserves the praise.
