LAS VEGAS—Former Raptors guard Dalano Banton had nothing but appreciation for the hometown team that drafted him as he embarks on a new chapter with the Boston Celtics.
Less than two weeks after leaving the Raptors and signing a two-year contract with Boston, Banton was on the UNLV campus training with the Celtics and reflecting on his time in Toronto.
“Shout out to the front office, I feel like that organization alone made me the person that I am, made me the kid from Rexdale,” Banton told the Star. “I owe them a lot.
