Watching the final seconds tick by in Monday’s blowout loss to the Greensboro Swarm, Jeff Dowtin Jr. is one of the first Raptors 905 players to spring off the bench. As teammates slap hands in camaraderie, Dowtin is first in line, making sure he touches everyone, keeping spirits high.
The 25-year-old point guard is a new face on the team, but it’s his third season in the G League and his experience is showing.
“I’ve grown tremendously on the court and off the court, definitely,” Dowtin says at Scotiabank Arena, where the Raptors affiliate lost 116-101.
