Five Raptors challenges for new coach Darko Rajakovic — who has a fan in Nikola Jokic

From the start of the search for a new Raptors coach, it became apparent there were two divergent paths they could take.

With a roster that’s in flux, they could try to add to it and keep going forward or step back and slow down by getting younger.

The new coach would have to be able to adapt either way — which direction team president Masai Ujiri and general manager Bobby Webster will take remains unclear — and Darko Rajakovic seems to have those chops.
