I’m a big believer in balanced rosters. The Toronto Raptors could certainly use a respected veteran who can still contribute on the floor while functioning as big brother (and occasional butt-kicker) to a young team. With P.J. Tucker in Houston, the job is open.
The Chicago Bulls have paid shooting guard Dwyane Wade a lot of money to go away. While not saying so explicitly, team management has clearly decided to tank this season and probably the next. They moved the excellent Jimmy Butler, and now Wade, for the goal of rebuilding with youth.
While the Raptors have not been mentioned as a possible destination for D-Wade, we still should consider whether he would fit on our roster.
