A win away from standing on equal ground with Sam Mitchell as the Toronto Raptors’ most successful coach, Dwane Casey wasn’t feeling reflective.
“Until you said that, not at all,” Casey said of his awareness of picking up win No. 155 on Wednesday night over the Indiana Pacers. “The only thing I’m worried about is the Boston Celtics (who the Raptors face in Boston on Friday) and our offence running at a faster clip, a faster pace.”
His nose to the coaching grindstone, Casey continued to talk. He liked his team’s defence against the Pacers.
