The early returns on Marc Gasol have been mostly positive. He has come to the Toronto Raptors as advertised – a high IQ big man who can create his own shot, run the pick and pop and facilitate an offence from any of the post positions.
Gasol is an intelligent and vocal defender who averages nearly eight rebounds a game. And each game he plays he seems to be more comfortable with his teammates and coach Nick Nurse’s system.
