DeRozan and Lowry not enough for Raptors in Game 6

In a playoff run that has seen just about every unlikely Raptors scenario imaginable, Friday’s Game 6 against the Miami Heat may have produced the strangest and most disappointing one. DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry combined for 59 points, but were the only Raptors to score in double digits in a 103-91 series-extending loss. The Raptors’ supporting cast has carried the team for much of the post-season, but on Friday there were no third, fourth or fifth options beyond the team’s superstars. Game 7 and a litany of possibilities await on Sunday at the ACC.
