The Toronto Raptors have traded away small forward DeMarre Carroll along with a future first and second pick to the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for Justin Hamilton.
Hamilton is a 7-foot centre who played in 64 games last season for the Nets averaging 6.1 points per game along with 4.1 rebounds per game coming off the bench. He is a journeyman who was originally drafted by the Philadelphia in the second round of the 2012 draft and played his college ball at Iowa State from 2008-10 before transferring to LSU 2011-12.
Hamilton has bounced around Europe, the D-League and has had stints in the NBA with Charlotte, Miami, Minnesota and Brooklyn.
